Privacy

Everything Locator does not collect, store or send any personal data. Everything it does happens on your Mac.

What the app reads

The app reads the names, sizes and dates of the files and folders inside the folders you choose. It does not open or read the contents of your files. Quick Look previews are shown by macOS.

What the app stores

• Its file index, saved inside the app's own sandbox container so it can start quickly.
• Your settings, search history and the folders you allowed it to access, in the same container.

You can clear the search history and the folder access from the menu bar icon. Deleting the app removes all of it.

Network

The app runs in the macOS App Sandbox without network access. It has no analytics, advertising or tracking, and makes no network connections of its own.

Purchases and ratings

Purchases and App Store ratings are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We do not receive your personal information from them.
